Episode 1

KWOK FEI-FEI, a local renowned movie star, recently finds favor with a world-class film director, getting a part to play in a world-class movie. During their contract signing ceremony, all the attending journalists suddenly leave FEI-FEI's press conference after they receive the breaking news that another star MAN CHOI-LING is going to marry the second son of the local tycoon HO SIU-LAN, LIN CHI-KIT. FEI-FEI is totally grieved by how her spotlight has been stolen, so she goes to CHOI-LING's press conference to make trouble. Later on, the two meet up with each other outside the venue, and even talk about their bygones. It turns out that FEI-FEI and CHOI-LING both signed up for the artiste training program offered by the TV station, and became bosom buddies. However on one occasion, CHOI-LING had a chance to become a prime time artiste after getting the attention of a TV producer.… ...

Seeing that CHI-KIT is ready to get married, SIU-LAN is eager to find a spouse for her elder son CHI-SUM. Moreover, she even forces CHI-SUM to join the speed dating party without knowing that CHI-SUM is totally not interested in it. In an attempt to marry into the LIN family, FEI-FEI tries to seduce CHI-SUM, who is not tempted at all. CHOI-LING sees through FEI-FEI's trick and taunts her. In order to recover from the situation, FEI-FEI joins forces with the film crew, scheming to get close to CHI-SUM. Finally, she manages to leave a good impression on CHI-SUM. Having learned this, CHOI-LING not only goes to tip SIU-LAN off about it, but also seizes the opportunity to butter her up, claiming that she is capable of dealing with it. CHOI-LING tricks FEI-FEI, making FEI-FEI show her true color in front of CHI-SUM, who storms off in a huff. When FEI-FEI is checking the family expenses receipts, she uncovers that LIN LUNG called for a towing service, and suspects that LIN LUNG is hiding something from them. FEI-FEI pays a visit to her father at the fruit stall, where she senses that CHI-YUNG might be interested in MAN SING. In order to catch the culprit, CHOI-LING secretly installs a micro video camera in the kitchen and connects it to the surveillance system. Unfortunately, her monitoring attempt is discovered by SIU-LAN, who reprimands her instead. CHOI-LING, out of curiosity, tails HOI-KWAN in secret.… ...

Episode 7

When FEI-FEI and KWOK TAK are talking about things with regard to the LIN family, KWOK TAK worries that his daughter might lose power and influence in the LIN family. On the flip side, CHOI-LING also discusses with LIN-HING about her status in the LIN family. Ever since she returns, CHOI-LING has been forcing CHI-KIT to actively take part in company operations. Unexpectedly, she uncovers that CHI-KIT has no intention of taking up the reins of his family business. Going to the company by herself to win the staff over, CHOI-LING also manages to keep a client for the company. Having learned what CHOI-LING has done, FEI-FEI also takes CHI-SUM by force to participate in the company meeting. However, CHOI-LING's intervening often brings trouble to the company. Episode 9

CHOI-LING bursts into tears in front of CHI-KIT, screaming that she wants to move out, whereas FEI-FEI also manages to persuade CHI-SUM to move out with her. As a result, SIU-LAN stops providing them any financial support. Simultaneously, both CHI-SUM and CHI-KIT turn their back on their wives, resulting in FEI-FEI and CHOI-LING leaving the LIN family by themselves. Ever since then, the couples have to communicate with each other through video calls in secret. SIU-LAN breaks CHI-YUNG's precious gift given by FEI-FEI. That makes CHI-YUNG so angry that she even scolds her mother, who slaps CHI-YUNG on her face right away. Taking her husband's advice, SIU-LAN plans to travel abroad with him, and even decides to hand over the company business to CHI-SUM and CHI-KIT. In order to make a living, FEI-FEI returns to the fruit stall and works together with her father KWOK TAK, and the father-daughter relationship improves as a result. Meanwhile, CHOI-LING also goes back to the village, where she notices that LIN-HING's relationship with KWOK TAK has also improved. During the Lunar New Year, SIU-LAN spends time with all her family members at home over the festive period. All of a sudden, the CEO of the foreign private-equity firm, who bought SIU-LAN's company, pays a visit and the two provide updates on each other's recent situation.
