Episode 1

In the 1st year of Zhengsheng, Empress of The Da Zhou Dynasty MO TSAK TIN has invited the celebrated chancellors TIK YAN KIT for flower appreciation in the Imperial Garden. TIN told KIT that she dreamed of herself picking a pear and dividing it by two. Her nephew Prince NGAI – MO SHING CHI said this was bad while KIT’s youngest son KING-FAI thought the underneath meaning was reunion. TIN then wanted to allow her exiled son Prince LO LING – LEE HIN coming back to the Capital. HIN’s wife Lady TSUN was not feeling good during the banquet. KIT examined her pulse condition and looked different. The Royal Doctor SUEN diagnosed that TSUN was pregnant for 4 months, which was exulted TIN. However, Lady TSUN was found drown and death in the pond. KIT thought she was murdered and indicated some doubtful points. TIN has appointed KIT and CHI’s eldest son TING-MING for investigation.… ...

Episode 2

CHI and MING went to the palace of Lady CHOR and said she was the murderer who killed TSUN. CHOR denied. MING hit CHOR into coma and wanted to set up a trap of hanging. Luckily KIT and LUEN arrived. KIT and his team then headed to the palace of Prince NGAI for MING. Princess has stopped them by showing them the Royal Embroidery. Meanwhile the Scholar SHEUNG-KOON YUEN-YEE has brought the team there. MING then confessed and revealed the details of murdering TSUN. CHI pleaded TIN to mitigate MING’s crime exiling him. KIT has objected and TIN then sentenced MING to death. CHI has detested MING and swore to kill him to revenge for MING. As KIT has disrespected the Royal Embroidery, he was demoted to Officer of Luozhou. KIT intended to restructure the casinos and prostitutes’ houses in Luozhou. LUEN was teased by the junior owner SUNG TING-YUK when she was investigating the casino.… ...

Episode 3

Great Madam TIK and YUK used requiting God as an excuse to introduce a man to LUEN. LUEN thought that it was YUK to be introduced. She satirized him but was then teased by him. YUK took her jade. The dating was ruined. LUEN was not allowed to go out anymore. KIT was also embroiled to kneel on the ground. Later on, KIT asked his eldest son KWONG-YUEN to take an exam for military officer being trained by LUEN. CHOR prayed for the sick abed HIN. TIN was soft-hearted and let HIN back to the Capital. CHOR was glad. Having learnt the release of HIN, CHI planned to kill him. TAK volunteered to take care of it. On the other hand, YUK prepared to take the exam of military officer but NGO objected. The mother and son then came with an agreement. If YUK failed the exam, he should take care of NGO’s businesses. Otherwise, NGO would retire. Having seen the beloved YEE in the examination court, YUK passed the exam.… ...

Episode 4

YUK was assigned to be the Captain of Luozhou Province and was tit for tat with LUEN. The tribute was turned to stones during transportation. KIT believed that somebody has exchanged the tribute. Also, he found out YUET’s younger brother CHO HON was being one of the escort team. HANG and his wife visited TIK’s house pleaded KIT to save HON. CHI pointed out that the escort team should be responsible for lost of tribute and should be sentenced to death. While KIT tried to argue with CHI, YEE arrived and reported the palace of Prince LO LING was caught fire and HIN died in the accident. TIN was so sad and ordered to kill all neglected officials. KIT could not help. CHI has applauded TAK for his merits and believed he would be the prince-to-be. The officer-dressed thieves were found died in the cave. KIT said they were died from Eagle claw kung-fu. Also, scales of fish were found in their wound.… ...

Episode 5

KIT found the location of the stolen tribute by those traces. Meanwhile, CHI has ordered to execute HON. KIT and the team arrived the execution ground and requested to review the previous judgment during the critical moment. CHI was enraged. After TIN has executed the prime culprit, CHI deemed that they should not be lenient towards HON and the other officials and proposed to banish them. HON and the others were exiled to Cangzhou. YUET and HANG were both sad to see HON off. HON and YUET were reconciled. LUEN and YUK have cracked the underground casino and arrested the casino owner and NGO. KIT punished the casino owner severely and instructed YUK to bastinado NGO. In order to act justly, YUK did it reluctantly. HIN’s wife Lady WAI has returned to the Capital. TIN questioned her about the details of HIN’s death. CHOR satirized WAI of choosing to live on in disgrace instead of dying honorably.… ...

Episode 6

LUEN was nominated by TIN as a Lieutenant. Great Madam was displeased as she did not think it was a proper status for a woman. While LUEN and YUK were patrolling in the city, they found NGO looked different and misunderstood that she would set up another casino. They condemned NGO and NGO scolded YUK for loving the country more than his mother. She wanted to leave the Capital but YUK did not respond. NGO was angry. KIT and the team went rectifying the town in order to improve the hygiene in Luozhou. NGO tried to ruin and satirize KIT but was then warned by him. She did not get angry but in fact was a little bit happy. YUK admired YEE and confessed his love to her again. YEE used TAK to turn him down, meanwhile, LUEN saw that. An epidemic disease was discovered in Luozhou. TIN used hunting as an excuse to leave the Palace. KIT was assigned to block the city.… ...

Episode 7

The plague in Luozhou was getting more serious and even YUET was infected. In order not to involve TIK’s family, YUET decided to separate herself even with her own son. LUEN has arranged meeting for HIN and WAI but was discovered by TAK. He chased to TIK’s house but luckily by the smart TIK’s family, HIN’s track has not been revealed. As KIT could not get the medicine to soothe the plague in the city, the mob was rioting against them dashing the gate and wanted to leave the city. KIT was injured. He knelt down begging for forgiveness and promised to get the medicine in 5 days. Otherwise he would let them leaving the city. LUEN and YUK went to Zhengzhou tracing the medicine and discovered it was taken by somebody with false document. In the meantime, they got acquainted with LAU FEI-YEUNG. LAU promised to track the medicine for them. They found out that it was taken by CHI’s younger brother SAM-SZ.… ...

Episode 9

Lady NGAI bribed the maid YEE-MUI to exchange the medicine that caused HIN’s treatment did not work for TIN. YEE fed TIN with the medicine getting her trust in order to ask TIN to treat SHEUNG-KOON’s family well. NGO argued with LUEN for trifles but then they turned out to be good friends exchanging views of martial arts. YUK thought it was a fight when he saw that. He then stopped the fight and hurt NGO. Having learnt YUK cared a lot, LUEN felt so sweet and treasured the knife given by YUK. When LUEN entered the Palace, she found MUI looked suspiciously. It was discovered by TAK and he forced MUI to suicide by falling into a well. The clue was lost. LUEN then told YEE about what she knew. While LUEN tried to further investigate the death of MUI, KIT stopped her which has discontented her. YUK brought LUEN to Ying Heung House for leisure.… ...

Episode 10

TIN suspected HIN for poisoning her and ordered CHI to investigate. Though he could not find any evidence, he house arrested HIN’s family. HIN was downcast and WAI encouraged him not to quit. KIT investigated all people in the Palace to clear up the suspicion of HIN. YEE’s mother CHENG PING worried that TIN would suspect them because they were descendants of a guilty courtier. YEE told her not to worry about it. TIN worried about being poisoned all the day and did not take any medicine. YEE volunteered to try the medicine. TIN then felt relieved and took it. LUEN ignored KIT’s advice and reported to TIN that MUI was forced to suicide. CHI eased TIN’s suspicion by hurting himself. MUI’s case was put dormant. KIT blamed LUEN for her foolhardiness which has discontented LUEN. She then decided to investigate the princess on her own. She discovered some poison flowers in the Palace and wanted to report to TIN.… ...

Episode 11

KIT fell into coma after hurting his head and YUK suspected that somebody has tried to harm him. TAK headed to the Palace and surprisingly learnt that the one who poisoned was PING. He was hesitating on whether informing CHI or not. KIT came into conscious. He then looked for YUK telling him the suspect who poisoned and asked him to catch and interrogate the suspect in the Palace. YUK told YEE the fact. YEE then asked him letting her to handle. PING confessed that she poisoned in order to revenge for her husband and father-in-law. YEE threatened PING with her own life asking her to leave and took the guilt by herself. In order to please CHI, TAK told him the truth. CHI then had SZ to report it to TIN to atone for his crime. TIN was enraged by the case. YEE gave herself up and was detained. Meanwhile, TIN ordered to arrest PING.… ...

Episode 12

TIN awarded WAI with a jade necklace. WAI scorned CHOR which has deepened their hatred. WAI smacked and insulted YEE when YEE was irrigating the flowers in the garden. YUK comforted her. LUEN felt sad when she saw YUK and YEE hugging each other. TIN has prepared vegetarian food for YEE and confessed her loneliness without YEE. She even remitted her guilt. YEE was grateful. KIT and CHI have found out YEE resuming her post after they were called to the Palace. TIN ordered three of them to prepare entertaining the Turkish King hospitably. In order to celebrate YEE for resuming her duty, YUK treated her with wine. Meanwhile, YUK confessed his love to YEE again but was turned down by her directly. LUEN worried about YUK as he was heart-broken and got drunk. YEE asked TAK to help tracing the cause of death of her grandfather and father from CHI. CHI stated that it was KIT betraying them.… ...

Episode 13

When TIN and the officers entertained the Turkish King, he heckled them with a legendary pearl. Luckily YEE helped them out of the predicament. The King proposed to YEE. TIN has put him off and worried about it. KIT offered an advice to hang the King back. YEE then indicated that her husband should master both pen and sword. She proposed three tests. They both won once in martial arts and riddle competition. The third round was drinking test. CHI won by playing some tricks. KIT has warned TIN that the Turkish King might not truly yield the rival. YUET and LUEN has prayed for blessings in Pure Land Temple. Meanwhile, YEUNG KA-HEI, YUET’s ex-husband, was chased and beaten by his debtors. He then borrowed one hundred dollars from YUET for making a small business in his hometown. YUK has investigated a man hovering around Ying Heung House. The man was called YAT-FU.… ...

Episode 14

NGO revealed to YUK that the reason why FU left ages ago. In fact KWAI expelled FU’s lover TO-KUEN a few years ago. HEI went to Ying Yeung House outraging FA-HO who was a performer instead of prostitute. Luckily she could get away. FU was hostile to HEI. KIT questioned HEI for not coming back to his hometown. HEI insulted KIT in public. YUET has blamed herself for embroiling TIK’s family. KIT felt encouraged. KIT took care of the Great Madam as she was sick. He then took this opportunity to speak for YUET. The Great Madam said she did not blame her as she also deeply loved YUET. YUEN pleaded HEI to leave Luoyang at the motel but was finally teased and insulted by him. HEI went to Ying Heung House again to outrage HO. FU was enraged and beat him. HEI left with anger. On the day after, HEI was found died in the room holding a hairpin of YUET. YUET was detained of being a suspect murdering him.… ...

Episode 15

Having examined FU’s arm, YUK persuaded him to confess the crime. FU has elaborated the details of killing HEI in the police station. CHI and SZ arrived without inviting by anyone. SZ dropped a hint to FU that he could help him to get out of trouble. However, FU confessed directly and they were both in an awkward situation. FU was sentenced to imprisonment for 15 years. TIN wanted to find a match for YEE. CHI was lust of her. WAN saw it and stated not letting him to marry YEE. They felt out. NGO prayed for a safety symbol for KWAI. She had quarrels with the Great Madam after knocking against each other. LUEN and YUK went hunting. LUEN felt sweet when YUK took the opportunity showing his love to her. However, having back home, they noted that NGO and the Great Madam had quarrels. They dared not to let their relationship going into public.… ...

Episode 16

CHI wanted to marry YEE but WAN ruined it in front of TIN. However, CHI did not get angry and he even prepared tea to serve WAN. WAN felt uneasy. LUEN pretended to be sick and she dated with YUK out-town. Unfortunately it was discovered by the Great Madam. She was very annoyed and even left and stayed in a Buddha Hall. KWAI got sick because of missing FU. FU asked YUK’s help going back home to see KWAI. YUK arranged to send FU home in secret. Having noted YUK helping FU to see KWAI, SZ has arranged two important prisoners TO SAM and TI CHIN escaping from the jail in order to incriminate YUK. He also reported to TIN and accused KIT for not managing them well. TIN then instructed KIT and YUK to chase the prisoners. SAM and CHIN have killed everyone they met in Luozhou and everyone ran scared. CHI has arranged MAN-KOON hurting himself and reported to TIN that the two prisoners did it.… ...

Episode 17

The two prisoners died one by one. KIT could not trace the chief instigator. YUK was banished to Linzhou because of releasing prisoner. CHI requested TIN to punish KIT severely. However, his punishment was just suspension of his salary because of mitigation by the other officials. CHI has arranged the servants to disturb WAN making her collapsed and lived in great fear. Even TAK has thought that WAN was insane. CHI took the chance to get closer to YEE. CHOR has pretended sick in order to get HIN’s fondness. NGO, KWAI and the team have decided to leave Luozhou and go back to their hometown and said goodbye to the others. Meanwhile, LUEN wanted to meet YUK in Linzhou. CHOR attacked WAI with witchcraft and made her infected with a strange disease. HIN has nothing to do with it. WAI said there was an assassinator escaping to CHOR’s palace. In fact she wanted to reveal the fact of CHOR’s witchcraft to TIN.… ...

Episode 18

By WAI’s arrangement of bribing the maid TSUI-CHUK, TIN finally sentenced CHOR to death. TIN denounced HIN for not managing his family well. CHI intended to add salt to wound, however, HIN has been put in an important position while Turks attacked again. HIN, KIT and LUEN were sent to Linzhou to negotiate with Turks. On the other hand, WAN almost got collapsed and it became severe as CHI intended to marry YEE. TAK has worried but YEE told him that she wanted to be with him for the rest of her life. Having arrived Linzhou, LUEN reunited YUK. YUK volunteered to burn the barn of Turks in order to force them reconciled. YUK has exchanged the views of martial arts with the Turkish King by fighting with him. Finally two countries have reconciled. CHI’s relative YIM TI-SHAN was about to poison the team but was exposed by KIT, then he committed suicide. TIN awarded the team by their merits.… ...

Episode 19

TIN intended to propose HIN as the crown prince and instructed CHI to assist him. CHI has cheated TAK helping him to get the snitching letter. Afterwards, he ordered SZ to kill WAN and TAK. TAK has injured and got away. He was saved by KIT and YUET. YEE could not find TAK and argued with YUK. NGO and YUK were murdered out-town. The lethal weapon was the hairpin of YEE. KIT questioned YEE which has discontented TIN and YEE. CHI indicated SUNG’s family for hiding the documents of treason by false evidence and brought out a false charge to KIT for rebellion. He even killed the witness. TIK’s family was imprisoned and HIN was under house arrested. KIT and YUEN have not been caught as they were both out investigating another case. They hid. CHI planned to behead TIK’s family to attract KIT’s presence. In order to save the family, YUET has sacrificed herself being beheaded. KIT was painfully sad.

Episode 20

KIT has swallowed his deep grief at his wife’s death and struck back. YEE learnt from TIN that CHI has misled her being hostile to KIT. Furthermore, she learnt from the maid MADAM-SHUK that TAK has gotten back the snitching letter for KIT. YEE then believed CHI has manipulated a conspiracy behind. YEE has argued with TIN about TIK’s family. TIN finally agreed to release them. They left the city by YEE’s arrangement. KIT sought YEE’s help for a chance of defense in front of TIN. He has provided evidences to accuse CHI but was refuted by him one by one. Unexpectedly, TAK was present to criticize the outrages of CHI and SZ regardless of their relationship. He even presented the snitching letter by WAN as evidence in order to reveal the will of insurrection of MO’s family…… TIN restructured the government and had HIN to be the Crown Prince giving the world with justice and keeping on the prosperity of the country.
