The Gospels S1:E10

Birth – Youth – Baptism

Eight scholars join Dr. Jordan B. Peterson to explore Jesus's early life. As they examine the nativity, childhood, and baptism, they discover these ancient texts hold transformative patterns that could guide our civilization through its current crisis of meaning.

The Beginning of the Ministry

The group examines Jesus's wilderness trials, revealing a revelatory truth: salvation comes not through power, but through individual commitment to the highest good. Like Job, Jesus shows that maintaining an upward aim yields hope even in the darkness.

Miracles

As the group probes through Christ's miracles, they uncover a pattern that applies to both individual and societal healing. Through stories of restored sight and renewed life, they trace how ancient wisdom might illuminate our path from fragmentation to integration.

The Sermon on the Mount

In the Sermon on the Mount, Dr. Peterson and his fellow seekers discover a radical counterpoint to modern power politics. These ancient words—celebrating the poor in spirit and love of enemies—chart a revolutionary course beyond both victimhood and dominance.

Parables

Within Christ's parables, Dr. Peterson and his companions find more than moral tales—they encounter revolutionary maps of reality itself. From sowers to talents, these timeless stories pierce comfortable illusions, offering wisdom for a world caught between optimism and despair.

The Ministry Continues

On dusty roads with sinners and skeptics, Jesus reveals a paradox that captivates Dr. Peterson's circle: true compassion reaches into darkness while holding fast to the light. Their journey probes an eternal question—how to embrace both mercy and truth in our fractured age.

Conflict with Authority

From Roman rule to religious persecution, Jesus' clashes with power grip Dr. Peterson's circle with timeless resonance. Beyond blind rebellion or conformity, they discover a radical truth: authentic authority flowers only where mercy and justice merge.

Holy Week and The Last Supper

When Jesus enters Jerusalem, triumph twists into betrayal—a paradox that rivets Dr. Peterson's circle. Through Holy Week's shadows, they glimpse a profound truth: real transformation demands we face darkness while keeping faith in what's highest.

Betrayal and Trial

In humanity's darkest hour, Dr. Peterson's circle confronts the Passion's haunting truth: evil triumphs not through villainy, but through good people's small compromises. Between Gethsemane and Pilate's seat, they face an eternal question: what price is truth in a world demanding compliance?
