Breaking Up

Lin Zhanqiao and He Han are a golden duo in the online literature world. They work well together and have been in a stable relationship for years. However, during an interview, they suddenly announce their breakup and declare that they would no longer collaborate in the future.

Complete Separation

Lin Zhanqiao is utterly disappointed in He Han's indifference towards his work and love life. Lin Zhanqiao decides to sell "Six Provinces in Ruin" to completely separate her life and work from He Han.

Facing Difficulty

He Han teases Lin Zhanqiao for being unable to act, but in reality, he secretly pays attention to Chenxing's movements. He visits Chenxing to tease Zhanqiao on the surface, but his true goal is to expose Zhao Lanxin's and Ling Yikai's secret plan.

Jealousy

Lin Zhanqiao announces her partnership with Lone Smoke during a livestream. He Han congratulates Lin Zhaoqiao on the surface, but is secretly jealous of Lone Smoke. He never expects her to hand over the content they created together to someone else.

Trust

Lin Zhanqiao drafts a tighter contract with Attorney Bei to reinforce her cooperation with Lone Smoke. Unexpectedly, Lone Smoke signs the contract immediately due to his complete trust in her.

Proving Himself

Lin Zhan Qiao and Lone Smoke discuss how A Drunken Old Friend should continue. Despite the challenges ahead, Lone Smoke remains confident. He's determined to prove to Lin Zhao Qiao that he's better than He Han.

Misunderstanding

He Han finds out Zhang Zhu has no place to stay and lets her stay in a hotel room beside his. A misunderstanding is caused when Dai Shan and Zhanqiao see Zhang Zhu at the hotel.

Chapter Update

He Han prepares to update his chapters again. Dai Shan discusses the promo plan with him. Mr. Fan joins them as well. Lin Zhanqiao realizes that Mr. Fan treats her differently. She's surprised by it.

Showing Concern

Lone Smoke's A Drunken Old Friend overcomes the odds and tops the charts. While Lin Zhanqiao is overjoyed, she's also worried about He Han.

The Mole

Lin Zhanqiao learns that Zhiyuan's investment has run into trouble. As she works out a solution with Zhou Mei and Cai Zhangzhu, they find out there may be a mole inside the company.

Financial Problems

Chenxing encounters some financial problems. Mr. Fan suggests an investment from Dingqi Web Novel in Chenxing with the condition that Chenxing becomes one of Dingqi Web Novel's subsidiaries.

Saying Yes to Him

Attorney Bei wants to bring his wife to Cai Dezhang's dinner gathering. Zhou Mei attends the gathering. Zhang Yousen attends the gathering as her boyfriend. It turns out that Zhou Mei agreed to Zhang Yousen's courtship to deal with the difficult situation.

Putting on a Show

He Han and Lin Zhanqiao decide to stage an act for Uncle Fan, convincing him that He Han will return to Chenxing to boost his interest in investing.

A Tangled Relationship

Zhang Yousen's involvement in a fight angers Attorney Bei. Zhou Mei pleads on his behalf, but Bei uses the moment to pressure her-hinting that if she doesn't want innocent people to be dragged in, she should return to his control.

Lost Contact

As the submission time for "A Drunken Old Friend" approaches, Lone Smoke vanishes suddenly. Lin Zhanqiao looks for Lone Smoke everywhere. Lone Smoke is actually trying to see where he stands in Lin Zhanqiao's heart after Zhao Lanxin's provocation.

Revealing The Truth

The company staff sees the update for "A Drunken Old Friend". A heated argument breaks out due to Lin Zhanqiao's decision to upload Lone Smoke's update instead of He Han's.

Mother

He Han's father passes away suddenly. He Han breaks down due to the passing of his only family member. Then, Lin Zhanqiao tells him that his mother is still alive.

Jumping Ship

Lone Smoke is trying to land the opportunity to write a continuation of Shining Knight's work, but Lin Zhanqiao won't agree to it.

Cyberbullying

He Han is caught up in a scandal due to similarities between his novel and an unfinished one. Zhang Zhu stands up and defends him. Lin Zhanqiao tries to help He Han clear his name, but is rejected.

Cutting Ties

Zhou Mei returns from Jiangxi. Attorney Bei shoulders all of the penalties. Mrs. Bei requests that they cut ties. But it turns out that Zhang Yousen and Mrs. Bei are the ones who land Attorney Bei in a career and relationship crisis.

Retirement

He Han is widely criticised for ending his story abruptly. He Han announces his retirement from writing. Dai Shan and He Han settle their revenue and part ways.

Betrayal

Lin Zhanqiao wants He Han to come back to Chenxing and stop letting himself spiral. He Han refuses. They get into a huge fight.

Lost

San Mei tells Lone Smoke that she's getting married. Lone Smoke feels conflicted. The trust crisis between him and Lin Zhanqiao and the distancing of his best friend have made him feel lost like never before.

Concealment

Zhao Lanxin reveals Shining Knight's true identity to Lone Smoke. Lone Smoke goes to find Lin Zhanqiao immediately to verify the truth.

More Important Matters

Lin Zhanqiao's mother is sent to the hospital to receive emergency treatment for an acute disease. He Han goes to accompany her. Zhao Lanxin suggests Lin Zhanqiao and Lone Smoke join her company, but Lin Zhanqiao rejects the offer.

No Compromise

Lin Zhanqiao goes to Lone Smoke with the contract termination agreement. Lone Smoke says Mr. Fan and Zhao Lanxin can offer him better terms, and accuses Lin Zhanqiao for not taking him seriously.

New Project

Lin Zhanqiao makes one final attempt to contact Lone Smoke, only to be mocked by Zhao Lanxin. Upset on Lin Zhanqiao's behalf, He Han confronts Lone Smoke, and they end up fighting.

Mountain Ghost Order

Chenxing is going all in on pushing Mountain Ghost Order. After reading it, He Han believes the prospects aren't good and advises Lin Zhanqiao to drop it. Lin Zhanqiao says she has no other choice, and this is the only project she can place her hopes on right now.

Livestream Promotion

Mountain Ghost Order isn't doing well online. To attract traffic, He Han and Prefrontal Cortex do a livestream. He even shares his own gossip.

Shutting Down the Company

The earlier livestream brought little improvement, and Lin Zhanqiao believes there is little hope in continuing. As a result, she decides to shut down the company.

Impossible

He Han is shocked upon reading the Al-generated content Dai Shan has handed to him. Lin Zhanqiao asks He Han if he wants to start anew with her for the last time.

At A Loss

Dai Shan seeks Lin Zhanqiao to persuade Shining Knight to come out of retirement. Lone Smoke and Zhao Lanxin get into a conflict.

Mirage

After becoming pregnant, Zhao Lanxin's conflicts with Ling Yikai intensify. Lone Smoke negotiates a collaboration with Dai Shan.

Final Battle

Zhang Zhu joins the Paper Brain Group to go against Al-generated novels. He Han delivers a novel to Mr. Fan as Shining Knight. Mr. Fan doubts his identity.

The Journey Home

As doubts about Shining Knight's true identity pile up, the truth is finally revealed.
