Hi Venus S1:E4

Accident

Due to a sudden storm, Lu Zhao Xi, president of a premium private hospital, Anxing Hospital, is trapped in his car after fishing at a mountain reservoir. Zhao Xi escapes his car and rescues a goat. He meets Ye Shi Lan, a doctor from Taoyuan Village Clinic who is looking for the goat and is mistaken for the goat thief.

Misunderstanding

Ye Shi Lan has revealed the key evidence that Lu Zhao Xi is not the president of Anxing Hospital, because she is only temporarily working here and is actually a pediatric doctor who came from Anxing Hospital to Taoyuan Village for medical assistance. Lu Zhao Xi is mistakenly recognized as a liquor dealer and unable to prove himself at the moment. In order to better manage the hospital in the future, Lu Zhao Xi decided to stay in the clinic under this identity and wait for "rescue," while taking the opportunity to get some hospital information from Ye Shi Lan.

A New Life

Ye Shi Lan is finally reinstated and goes back to her job. Just when she thinks that she can start a new life, she is called to the President's Office not long after she arrives at the hospital. Although she has been having doubts about Lu Zhao Xi's identity, she only becomes aware that Lu Zhao Xi is really the new president after seeing him again in the hospital.

Temporary Assistant

Ye Shi Lan wants to apply for the shift again, but such application is rejected by Huang Bo Hao. Just when he is in a dilemma, Lu Zhao Xi suddenly appears at the scene for work reasons. Lu Zhao Xi needs a confidant to better manage the hospital, and he appreciates Ye Shi Lan's behavior and attitude.

A Welcome Dinner

Lu Zhao Xi invites Ye Shi Lan to a welcome dinner and settles the scores with her in Taoyuan Village and that relieves Ye Shi Lan. Lu Zhao Xi believes that as the president, he's obliged to create a better working environment for the doctors, and Ye Shi Lan is very moved upon hearing this and is determined to help him in his future work.

Respect Her Choice

Lu Zhaoxi feels that Ye Shilan is still angry about the matter with Huang Bai Hao, and wants to ease his relationship with her. The two has dinner together, and Ye Shi Lan expresses her position: she doesn't want to offend Huang Bai Hao, and just wants to do her job well and return to the pediatrics department. Although Lu Zhao Xi doesn't agree with her, he also respects Ye Shi Lan's choice, and says that he has already regarded Ye Shi Lan as a friend.

Ji Zixing's Documentary

Despite Lin Kaiwen's concerns that Lu Zhaoxi may not be able to continue being the president because of Ji Zixing, Lu Zhaoxi remains unconcerned. He does not worry about it at all. Meanwhile, seeing that Lu Zhao Xi is oblivious to whether he can continue being the president of the hospital, Ye Shilan thinks that he cares nothing about her future in the Department of Pediatrics as well.

Boyfriend Incident

Ye Shilan treats Lu Zhaoxi to a meal to explain about the boyfriend incident. She asks Lu Zhaoxi to act as her boyfriend but he rejects her. Lu Zhaoxi finally agrees to have a meal with Wang Mei as Ye Shilan's boyfriend in exchange for a request that Ye Shilan has to fulfil in the future. Ye Shilan agrees.

A Substitute

Lu Zhaoxi reckon Ye Shilan takes him as a replacement of Jiang Huaiming. So he stops doing whatever Shilan requests him to do. On the contrary, he treats Wang Mei especially well.

Kiss

On a working day, Lu Zhaoxi shows Ye Shilan the deleted kissing photo of them that he recovered from his phone. The two of them banter back and forth, pretending they never care about the kissing incident. Ye Shilan treats Lu Zhaoxi to a meal. Lu Zhaoxi stated that she does not have to rush to tell Wang Mei that they break up. He will play along and cover up for her.

Real Couple?

Ye Shilan and Lu Zhaoxi have continued their fake couple relationship for a while now. Although they still treat each other as friends, they have actually been interacting like real couples. Ye Shilan still feels that she and Lu Zhaoxi are not meant to be together, and that there is no way Lu Zhaoxi will like her.

Jealousy

Ye Shilan and Lu Zhaoxi have a meal, during which Lu Zhaoxi hints that he already has a crush. Ye Shilan mistakenly thinks that he wants to get back together with Qiao Yu. Though jealous, she still stubbornly expresses support, which makes Lu Zhaoxi confused.

Opening Her Heart

Ye Shilan finds out that Lu Zhaoxi hid the truth behind the stolen necklace. She feels inferior and thinks that Lu Zhaoxi is taking pity on her. Lu Zhaoxi explains it to her patiently and resolves their misunderstanding. Ye Shilan invites Lu Zhaoxi back home for a meal. She opens her heart to him.

Feeling For You

Attempting to test Ye Shilan's feelings for him, Lu Zhaoxi invites her to pretend to be his girlfriend at his mom's birthday celebration. Ye Shilan rejects his invitation as she thinks that he likes Qiao Yu. Ye Shilan accidentally gets hurt, leading to the close contact between them while dealing with her wound. Lu Zhaoxi and Ye Shilan cannot help kissing each other. Lu Zhaoxi thus confirms that Ye Shilan has feelings for him.

Confessing To Her

When Lu Zhaoxi sends Ye Shilan home, he confesses to her. Ye Shilan admits that she likes him too and tells him about her worries. She's worried that Lu Zhaoxi likes her because he sympathizes with her. Lu Zhaoxi resolves her doubts, takes out a bouquet of flowers and confesses to her at the place where they first saw a rainbow together. Ye Shilan makes up her mind and kisses Lu Zhaoxi. They become a couple.

Testing

An audit team from the group arrives at the hospital. Lu Zhao Xi knows Gao Xuan has some wrongdoings in the hospital's finance. He uses Lin Kai Wen to test Gao Xuan by spreading some confusing messages to bait Gao Xuan. Lin Kai Wen meets Gao Xuan and leads him to believe the audit is carried out because Lu Zhao Xi is targeting him.

The Outreach Program

After the outreach program, the doctors leave the village to rest at the guest house, while Lu Zhao Xi and Ye Shi Lan stay at the clinic to catch up with the director and vice director. The vice director teases them that they look like they are in love, but Ye Shi Lan didn't want to reveal their romance during the program, so she hastily denies it.

Gossiping

On the way back from their free clinic, the doctors and nurses are chatting about the relationship between Lu Zhao Xi and Ye Shi Lan. Zeng Xin Yu, who knows about their relationship, tries to distract them, but it is obvious that she can't stop everyone from gossiping.

Love Relationship Revealed

After one week, Ye Shi Lan returns to the pediatrics department. After work, Ye Shi Lan treats the doctors in the pediatrics department to a meal under Lu Zhao Xi's name. Ye Shi Lan's colleagues are curious about her relationship with Lu Zhao Xi. Ye Shi Lan is reminded of Qiao Yu's words. She decides to gather her courage and embrace love. She texts Lu Zhao Xi to pick her up. They reveal their relationship.

Love At First Sight

After Ye Shi Lan's speech at the medical aid mobilization meeting, there is a question and answer session, besides asking questions about medical aid related topics, some colleagues are curious about how Ye Shi Lan and Lu Zhao Xi met in Taoyuan Village.

Back To Taoyuan Village

Ye Shi Lan hands in her application to provide medical assistance to Taoyuan Village to Gao Xuan. She reveals that she has broken up with Lu Zhao Xi. Lin Kai Wen tells Gao Xuan about the issue with the donated medical equipment in Taoyuan Village and makes Gao Xuan owe him a favor.

Suspension

Upon returning from a business trip, Lu Zhao Xi discovers that not only is his girlfriend gone, but he has also been suspended from his job. After Lin Kai Wen and Lu Zheng Shan explain the situation to him, he understands things better, but he can't help feeling upset at being treated as a pawn and even being lied to by Ye Shi Lan. As a result, he intentionally teases Ye Shi Lan in order to get her to reflect on her actions.

The Truth

Zhao Xi tells Ye Shi Lan about the secret file he finds from Gao Xuan. Gao Xuan never has the chance to expose the information. The file contains the truth about the suicide of Ye Shi Lan's dad.
