One of the best done coming of age/leaving home stories for kids/teens in a long time, it does a good job addressing Steven's internalised issues and personal growth that wasn't addressed in the main series, but doesn't come up to quite the same level of polish or impact the original series has. A good addition to the Steven Universe series even it doesn't match previous heights
