The stranger-than-fiction account of a prison break in upstate New York in the summer of 2015, which spawned a massive manhunt for two convicted murderers who were aided in their escape by a married female prison employee with whom they both became sexually entangled.

Overlong, but the acting is immense
You can never have enough security with Richard Matt. You can never trust him. You can never turn your back on him. He is the most vicious, evil person I've ever come across in 38 years as a police officer.

As far back as the late 80s/early 90s, long before long-form narrative would become the dominant mode of television storytelling, I was a fan of what would then have been called "non-episodic storytelling".
