Justice is a British drama television series which originally aired on ITV in 39 hour-long episodes between 8 August 1971 and 16 October 1974. Margaret Lockwood stars as Harriet Peterson a female barrister in the North of England. It was made by Yorkshire Television and was based loosely on Justice Is a Woman, an episode of ITV Playhouse broadcast in 1969 in which Lockwood had previously also played a barrister. The theme music was Crown Imperial by William Walton.

Episodes

Harriet represents her ex-husbands former cell mate after a bank robbery.

A decision must be made whether two children should remain with their mother or father.

A defence lawyer is accused of buying witnesses.

Three boys are involved injuring a security guard while breaking into a warehouse. One boy's case is treated separately after pleading guilty.

If someone dies as a result of a previous crime the perpetrator can be tried for murder. Harriet must now defend Brian Parsons.

A conflict ensues between the the Cold war security state and the British legal system after a physicist is found dead.

A gangster intimidates any potential witnesses to keep them from testifying about an assault.

Harriet assists a doctor accused of prescribing a fatal drug.

A Soviet defector names one of Dr. Moody's patients as a Red Army Officer.

A policeman has a case brought against him by his superior accused of taking bribes.

A large development project appeals against a decision to not build on rural land.

A woman is accused of murder making Harriet wonder if she should submit possibly damaging evidence.
