Manager Kim is an ordinary salaryman whose biggest worry is how to connect with his daughter Kim Min-ji — until she suddenly goes missing.
Frantic to find where Min-ji is, Manager Kim uses his skills from his days as Agent Kim — a secret agent who specialized in ruthless enemy takedowns.
Manager Kim reconnects with Sung Han-soo and Park Jin-cheol — his fellow dad friends (and former secret agents) — on his search for Min-ji.
Manager Kim's risky actions put him on the radar of enemies past and present. When danger strikes, Han-soo and Jin-cheol step up to help save the day.
Manager Kim trades blows with the enemy agent chasing him — only to realize he is an old friend. Meanwhile, Min-ji attempts an escape of her own.
Min-ji finds herself in a dire situation — until special agent Jung Sang-a shows up. The Special Missions Directorate tries to lure out Manager Kim.
Manager Kim and Min-ji finally reunite, but the path to safety is far from smooth. Later, Manager Kim is forced to make a difficult decision.
Manager Kim is captured and tortured — until the Special Missions Directorate steps in with a final mission. Ju Gang-chan makes a plan to get revenge.
With Manager Kim's mission a failure, the three agent dads team up with Sang-a to fight their way out — but Gang-chan has another trick up his sleeve.
Pushed to the brink by Gang-chan, Manager Kim must now make a crucial choice with Han-soo and Jin-cheol. Will Manager Kim be able to keep Min-ji safe?

I like South Korean series, but "Agent Kim Reactivated" is, simply put, a tedious watch. In my opinion the primary shortcoming is the scripting. This is supposed to be an action thriller, yet it's almost as if they are reluctant to get on with telling the story. Instead, there are incessant, irritating asides with shifts in story and focus; pointless secondary characters by the bushel; combined with a wholly unbelievable, overstated, super-humble-to-the-point-of-absurdity "doormat dad" who apparently is also, and this is the funny part, a secret agent/ruthless assassin.
Acting is decent, but that's this series' only saving grace and a meagre one when you consider all that doesn't work as it should.
In summary, a lack of focus in the script, combined with implausible characterisations, ruins what could have been a great series.
