Karilak(Justice League ) as Gramps , Gideon Adlon(The Craft: Legacy) as Devon Ishara, Simu Liu(Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings) as Lah Zhima , Keone Young(Star Wars Rebels) as Kwana, Chase Sui Wonders(The Studio) as Lady Tafflah , Feodor Chin (Overwatch) as Gennoh and Young Mazino(Beef) as Nawamm.
Star Wars: Visions knocked it out of the park with "The Ninth Jedi." It’s a masterclass in non-canon storytelling, fusing the magic of the Original Trilogy with the best parts of Ahsoka, Rogue One, and The Last Jedi.
Kara’s quest to find her father gives the story immense heart, while the color-shifting Kyber lore brings back early Star Wars concepts in a thrilling way. Nawann is an absolute powerhouse of a villain—part Vader, part Kylo Ren, part Baylan Skoll—and along with Kara, anchors the series with incredible voice acting.
It isn't without minor flaws: the early pacing stumbles slightly, the superweapon trope makes an appearance (even if cleverly used), and Kara's blaster-wielding hunter ally deserved a bit more screen time.
Still, the potential here is massive. Between "The Ninth Jedi," "The Ronin," and standout Season 3 shorts like "The Song On Four Wings," "The Bounty Hunters," and "The Smuggler," Lucasfilm needs to green light dedicated mini-series. Doubling down on grounded, non-Jedi stories—a formula that worked wonders for Rogue One, Solo, The Mandalorian, and Andor—proved that the Force is alive and well in anime.
