This show has everything you want for both comic and non comic book fans. It's well written, witty and includes a lot of great cameos. Please bring us a season two! I really recommend it.

I'm late to the party, but this was actually a pretty good series. It definitely didn't take any of the sorry woke dips in writing you'd - >groans< - normally expect from most any comic orientated entity of the past 7-10 years. Loved the adult themes, violence, team-ups, and plot twists in both narrative and scheme. I can't say I like giving Gunn any flowers, given the luke warm output in making his Superpeople movies, but this series was masterfully written. It downright makes you wonder if he bypassed someone who is put in a specific position, to ruin scripts/narratives with DEI/ESG statuettes, in order to get the series aired; it's that good.
I can't believe I'm actually using this phrase for a comic studio source in motion media, but "I really hope" - god, that feels weird - there is a second season just to see if this first season wasn't a one-off, i.e., blind luck. (Peacemaker ring any bells?)
