If you can get through the noncon fetish....
This series was surprisingly cute. I'd already seen BossNoeul in Boy Next World and I was curious about FortPeat so I decided to give this one a try. The series is broken up into two different stories, eps 1-7 are for BossNouel/PayuRain and eps 8-13 are for FortPeat/PrapaiSky and there's a 14th special episode which features all of them.
PayuRain eps: As much I loathe the noncon fetish (I know some people like it, but it's defs not for me), once the story moved past that the relationship was actually really cute. I liked that Payu and Rain set clear boundaries early on in their relationship to help manage their love, school, and work lives. There wasn't any major conflicts in their story either which I personally liked, the plot conflict was them trying to understand each other and build a relationship. I'm not a fan of overly convoluted storylines so the straightforwardness of the story appealed to me. Another thing I liked (strangely enough for me) were the sex scenes. I will fully admit that I often skip sex scenes. Even if a couple has good chemistry, if the director would rather film the scene like its some kind of fantasy than it's not for me; I hate it when there's over the top music, when the camera bounces around to different body parts, and the scene has weird edits (I'm looking at you DMD). This thankfully was nothing like that, it was very straightforward, very realistic, normal sex. I also liked that Rain was an active participant during the scenes. Usually childish uke are treated like dolls and act very shy during intimate scenes so it was refreshing to see Rain act like a regular guy wanting to have sex.
As an aside, the background characters in this story were wilding istg. There was literally a character who randomly started licking a pen. Weirdest thing I ever saw.
