The year is 50... no, wait, it's 78 B.C.! In a village in Gaul, Getafix is working on a magic potion and Obelix doesn't yet have superhuman strength.
Determined to defeat the indomitable Gauls, Caesar decides to use their own laws against them. In the forest, Getafix comes across some pesky Romans.....
A Gallo-Roman chieftain challenges Vitalstatistix. Meanwhile, a centurion spies on Getafix, who tries to make the magic potion with explosive results.
With the fight fast approaching, the Gauls desperately search for another way to win — stirring even more trouble between Asterix and Obelix.
As the Romans' dastardly plans for Gaul reach a boiling point, Metadata questions her loyalty and Asterix pulls out all the stops to save the village.
