This is actually both a mini-series and movie, both with the same name, so I'm going to just focus on reviewing the series here, but you really do need to watch the mini-series first or the movie won't make any sense. It's about a star student freshman in college who is forced to tutor a junior in college. Now the younger one is a bit nerdy, but has a strong friend group and a demanding mother. The older one is a star on the basketball team with a girlfriend and does not take things too seriously. In time they both begin to realize that they want to be more than friends and finally at the end of the series they do get together, while a happy ending, it was a bit anti-climatic.
