José Luis Inciarte Vázquez

José Luis Inciarte Vázquez (1948–2023) was a Uruguayan agronomist and survivor of the 1972 Andes flight disaster. Known as “Coche” Inciarte, he was one of 16 survivors of the crash of Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571. He later wrote Memorias de los Andes: 45 años después, recounting his experiences during the 72 days in the Andes and his life after the disaster.
