Upcoming Summer

Upcoming Summer is a tender coming-of-age film that explores the quiet chaos of adolescence — the pressure of exams, the confusion of love, and the longing to be understood. Through Chen Chen and Yu Xing, two teenagers seeking solace from family tension and self-doubt, the film paints a portrait of youth that feels raw yet gentle. Their bond, more about understanding than romance, becomes a refuge from the noise of growing up. With soft visuals, subtle performances, and a bittersweet calm, the story unfolds like the first day of summer — uncertain, fragile, but full of quiet hope.
