The 12th Suspect is a gripping mystery set in post-war Korea, focusing on the political tension surrounding intellectuals who are seen as threats to authority. With a confined café setting that feels like a theatrical stage, the film skillfully builds suspense through sharp dialogue, well-placed twists, and strong performances, despite a few logical oversights. The ambiguous, cliffhanger ending leaves viewers questioning truth and guilt, making it a compelling watch for mystery lovers who enjoy piecing together complex narratives.
