The Twins presents an engaging mystery with a well-structured narrative, supported by a moody setting and solid performances—especially from Dulling Chen, who effectively portrays dual characters. While the film successfully builds suspense, it falls short in delivering key story details and deeper character connections, leaving some plot points unexplained and slightly confusing in retrospect. Despite its flaws, emotionally resonant moments—like Li Pin’s heartfelt painting—offer satisfying depth, making the film worth watching for fans of psychological drama.
