Contact between most towns on Earth has been severed. A small ring-like area in Eastern Europe still has electricity, and maybe even life is being reported from space. What military forces find outside the ring is shocking.

Excellent movie
The Blackout is a dramatic, suspenseful, entertaining, engaging, and intelligent science fiction movie. The setting was fantastic, and very believable, the acting was very good, and the screenplay even better. I felt like i was there going through the strange event with them.
I'm a huge fan of intelligent Sci-Fi movies, and tired of the cookie-cutter sci-fi movies with their obvious money grab. This was a refreshing movie that's among the best of 2019. If you're looking for an excellent Sci-Fi movie, then this is one you won't want to pass up on. My only wish is that it was a bit longer to show us what happened after the last scene.
Excellent job to all involved!
9/10
