Honey (a gorgeous Colleen Anderson) is a shy, self-conscious young woman whose fear of sexual intimacy fractures her relationship with her boyfriend. After discovering his infidelity, Honey leans on her best friend, who helps her overcome her fears and psychological barriers. From that moment on—and also thanks to her own brother’s nurse (the undeniable Serena)—the protagonist undergoes an intense liberation and sexual awakening that completely transforms her. This leads her to explore her desires without taboos and to seduce both men and women in a journey of absolute self-discovery.

"Hot Honey" stands out primarily as a fascinating historical document of late-1970s Times Square. The production offers originality from its opening minutes, thanks to an excellent title sequence that captures the New York marquees of the era—showcasing commercial cinema gems like "Jaws 2". This provides a raw, urban, and deeply authentic atmosphere, very much in the vein of the great William Lustig.

Furthermore, "Hot Honey" features a highly energetic, psychedelic soundtrack packed with the characteristic funk rhythms of the period. It blends perfectly with a cast that delivers dramatic and erotic intensity with boldness and certain excesses—something celebrated by everyone in the auditorium.
