Young "Lea" (Julia Pointer) is excited to spend the day with her dad (Simon Scwarz). He takes her to the toy shop and the funfair - but along the way there are a few more official visits that require her to wait outside or in the car. Next thing, they are in a cab on their way to the airport. She begins to feel a little apprehensive. So do we. Is it just a surprise trip somewhere or something altogether more menacing? There are questions asked here that are answered and some that are not - so don't expect a story that is complete, but the gently and potently accruing pace of the drama painted with some intimitately observational style of camerawork builds tautly to a conclusion that maybe isn't the most surprising, but that still pushes buttons - thanks to quite a touching effort from the young Pointer. It's brevity means it cannot fully explore the emotionally-charged issues it touches upon, and the character of the father can't really be better developed, but it's quite a powerfully short feature that's worth a look.
