WANNABES (2000) is an odd movie because it’s a case where the end result is not as good as it’s parts. It doesn’t flow like a story, it’s more a series of vignettes chopped together, sometimes awkwardly. The moments themselves, the individual scenes, are actually pretty decent, they just didn’t end up leaving me with a sense of satisfaction for having watched the movie. The characters are a little thin and the acting of various quality. I’d be happy to watch it again but wouldn’t pay for it.
