Susan The Goth Girl

Susan the Goth Girl, even though it is a short film it has the potential to be bigger. The two main characters had a chemistry which would give a spark to the potential love story. The supporting actor’s characters have potential for development. The writer/director Elliott Kilmartin Gilroy has created a story that could have numerous layers. It could be a rom com, a drama or a social commentary. Mr Kilmartin Gilroy has a great future ahead of him.

I thought this was a great short film with a story people can relate to, not just goths but there is a wider theme of being accepted in a community or treated like everyone else, and I feel that there are a lot of people who can relate to feeling separated or different and made to feel that different is weird or wrong. This is a great film to represent that and how just a single person can be the difference to make that change.
