Time Trials: A Dragstrip Requiem

Excellent film on auto racing. Mendy Fry is an amazing protaganist in this exciting documentary. She shows us that what commitment looks like on the dragstrip

A documentary about a Woman in a Man's world -- and about her staring down adversity and tragedy and showing the boys the way home.

There is nothing more ferocious and terrifying than a nitro-belching Top Fuel dragster -- and nothing more satisfying than a member of the fairer sex dominating both the men and a machine that wants to kill her. Such harrowing conflict and adversity are superbly captured by Time Trials.

With its unprecedented access to drag racers as they toil and thrash behind the scenes, this film is equal parts D.A. Pennebaker's Don't Look Back and Russ Meyer's Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! Highly recommended.
