Saiyaara is one of the most heartfelt love stories of this generation. What makes it so impactful is not just the romance, but the emotional weight the characters carry. The story is driven by pain, memory, art, and the strength of choosing someone even when they might not remember you the next day.

• Vaani Batra, the female lead, is introduced in court where she receives a call from her fiancé. He confesses that he's with another girl for professional gain and breaks the marriage. She faints out of shock.
• Vaani is recovering from trauma. She suffers from memory issues and writes everything in her diary. Her past has broken her so badly that she tears away memories she doesn't want to remember.
• Krish Kapoor, the male lead, is a struggling singer who first meets Vaani when he finds her diary. He reads her words and unknowingly uses them as lyrics in a public performance.
• Their relationship begins as strangers, then partners. They start writing music together. But they're both broken: Vaani from betrayal and illness, Krish from a shattered family and his alcoholic father.
