Aftershock tells the emotional story of a mother forced to choose between saving one of her twin children during the devastating 1976 Tangshan earthquake. The film follows the lifelong impact of that decision on both the mother and her surviving children, exploring themes of trauma, guilt, and reconciliation. With powerful performances and striking visuals, it pays heartfelt tribute to the earthquake’s real-life victims.
